After graduating from Glasgow Vet School, Peter gained valuable experience in mixed practice – large, small and zoo – before focusing on his primary interest in large animals. This lead to his becoming one of the first handful of vets in Europe registered to perform cattle embryo transfer, an industry which shut down when BSE (mad cow disease) was identified in the UK.
